Compare Lifeline Providers

Phone Link Wireless offers its own Lifeline plans — but Lifeline is a federal benefit, not a single company, and several providers participate nationwide. This page is an independent comparison of other participating providers to help you understand your options, wherever you land.

How we make money — honestly. This comparison is editorially independent. We may earn a commission if you sign up with a provider through a link on this page, and we sell unlocked phones in our shop. That does not change which providers we list or how we describe them. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.

Provider Status Updates

Q Link Wireless Former Provider

Q Link Wireless ceased operating independently in 2024, and its operations transitioned to StandUp Wireless. If your previous Lifeline provider has stopped service, you can typically switch to another participating provider without losing your Lifeline eligibility — see our How It Works page.

Switching Providers

You can generally switch Lifeline providers at any time, and in most cases you can keep your existing phone number when you do. Confirm porting details with your new provider during enrollment.
